Hello,

I have a 1951 8N. There are two holes side by side on the left of the hood closer to the back then front. I assume they are for an emblem but I cannot find a pic showing what goes there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jon from Danville, PA

Perhaps the previous owner drilled them for
some other purpose...anything could happen
in its 70 plus years.

No side emblems on the 8N. those holes were drilled by a former owner. And only he can tell you why .

It could very well be from a dealer logo. The shop I worked for attached a chromed pot metal logo that said, Vaux Tractor, Mt. Vernon Wash.
and the phone number.
