Have not had this tractor too long. First engine oil change. Two lines run from filter base up to front. For cooling I assume ? Do you never get all the oil drained ? Unhook lines at filter base ? Or somewhere else ? Have had a bunch of Olivers and have JD from old 30 series to new 20 series. Not sure what to do before putting new oil in.

You never get all the old oil out.

As long as it's just a routine oil change, there is no problem with residual
oil in the system, just drain what comes out, replace the filter(s), and
carefully fill it to the full mark.

Only if there were a contamination problem would you worry about getting the
residual out, and then the only practical way is to do a back to back change
which gets wasteful and expensive!
