Dealer installed option, never by the factory.
 
I drove by one of the 6cyl conversions in the weeds, was always going to stop. Then one day it was gone, snooze you lose. Probably better
anyway. But those conversions are sure neat looking.
 
I am not certain about the H.P. figures but I have a v ford came from 1949 2 ton truck , I am thinking it was a 115hp engine. Dad removed it and ran it in a dirt track race car. Anyway have the engine as it was removed stored in the dry for 63 years , if anyone wants to build a tractor $250.00 located in Tennessee.
