Or better yet, take a photo of the model number etc tag and post it with the message.

I took photos of all my stuff and keep them in my phone photo album, comes in handy..

Reminds me of back in my body shop days, people would call and ask how much to paint their car. Boss would respond, how long is the rope I have hanging in my garage? Don't know can't see it. Yep can't give you a price to paint your car if I can't see it.
