Case IH 1680 combine adding auto height control

We have an older (IH engine) 1680 combine that we are looking to add auto header height control to. Has anyone done this or know what's involved? Thanks, Sam

i have had 2 1680's my first one was the 466 motor, i blew the motor and i kept most of the items that can be reused, i also have factory case ih manuals. i am not sure what it world take but some parts and wire, i do not have the unit that mounts to the feeder house. but most of the other stuff. if this is something you want to look into send me a reply here and go from there.

Thats certainly a kind offer, I have found some parts already, but I need to make sure its possible and exactly which parts I need. Were in eastern Canada so shipping is a big factor as well. Thank you for the offer. Ill see how it goes.
