Pics-Results Thursday Eve Farm Estate Sale With JD

This past Thursday evening at 6 PM I attended the Raymond Bandy estate sale that was held between Joplin and Seneca ,MO...As I was driving down the temperature was 101-103 degrees..Fortunately some clouds showed up just as the sale began..Despite being on a Thursday eve there was a huge crowd in attendance from 4 states...Lots of southern MO has had very little rain since early June and things are burnt up..The auctioneer said that he was going to conduct a fast paced sale and if you snooze you lose..Several quickly found that out ..The sale lasted 2 hours and I was back home a little after 9 PM.


The Bandy family had pulled with the Spring River Pullers for many years with son Chris doing the driving...Chris was able to purchase the 4440 JD puller for $21,000....It has 20.8 Pro Pullers on aluminum wheels..Its a 466 engine with P pump,Precision turbo-etc.

The 2004 John Deere 7720 tractor with loader sold for $52,000....It had 9400 hours and stayed in the family.



The 2004 John Deere CX15 Batwing 15 ft brush hog sold for $13,500.




The 2008 John Deere 467 baler sold for $18,000...It had baled 16,200 bales and was in excellent condition.




The 1977 Cat D-8K dozer sold for $33,000...It was in real good condition and recently had $24,000 spent on it.It ran great..



Well,its only going to let me load 5 pictures so I will be back with 5 more..Our 10 year old user friendly Apple computer that we loved crashed 2 months ago and we replaced it with another Apple that is the most user unfriendly computer that we have ever owned..Doing pictures-etc on it has been a absolute nightmare..I will not own another Apple..

The 2008 John Deere 865R 4x4 Diesel Gator with 1124 hours sold for $18,750..Cab with AC-heat,hyd pump-etc.

The Hesston 12 wheel rake with hydraulic fold sold for $2,800.


The Frontier disc mower sold for $3,650.





The Smooth Cut stump grinder sold for $4,100..It had seen very little use.





The like new Arrowquip squeeze chute sold for $7,800.

24 ft gooseneck that needed work----1,900
3 pt 200 gallon sprayer ----1,900
50 4x6 big bales 1 year old Bermuda hay sold for $80-90 each in several lots..
IH #37 wheel disk sold for $550.
Hy-Flow Diesel steam cleaner -over $5,000?
Heavy duty 3 pt blade---$400

Wow, some nice equipment. A lot of money spent there today.

The Cat dozer might be overkill for anything I need to do on my place but would sure be fun to run it. The price was more than reasonable for anyone in need of such a machine.

I know what you mean about Apple and its photo software. I had to upgrade because my old Apple no longer had updates available. It was too old. It looks like they said "How can we make managing photos as difficult as possible?"

I have been having trouble loading pics lately also with my old HP. Use to be able to do 2 at a time and preview then return to forum and do 2 more etc. Now I can only do one at a time, but it let let me do as many as I want.

1206--Thanks for the post--I think they had a good sale! 20.8 pro pullers and aluminum wheels-8 to 9 thousand--makes the rest of the 4440 pretty cheap--good for the kid. Stay Cool---Tee
