John Deere 4440 transmission problem

I have a 4440 with quad transnmission and under 6000 hours. This guy has not worked hard in years as it is my yard tractor with 158 loader.A month ago the power shift felt mushy so I changed the filter. I found no dirt and no filings. The shifter is still mushy and now I do not even get all the gears .
What should I do now ??

I suggest to check traction clutch pressure which should be 155-165 psi. Mushy feeling when engaging clutch could be caused by slipping traction clutch or hyd hi-lo clutches

Start with obvious/simple shifting cables.Our 4020 had trouble like that it turned out to be a shifting cable.

is it a quad range or a powershift? cant be both

It is a quad transmission.
I call the side to side shift a power shift
It is confusing , I guess.
