#32 chain gear cole side dresser farmall c

Hey all, Im still looking for a gear for my farmall c to run the cole side dresser. I believe the side dresser uses #32 flat chain. The shaft on my farmall c has a 1.25 diameter shaft from the brake housing to run the side dresser. Since I cant find the actual gear manufactured for the farmall c, I figured I could find a #32 chain gear with a 1.25 diameter (around 6 or 7 tooth) and mount that directly onto the tractor. Does anyone have a link or know where I can find a gear that might work? I will not need the farmall c kick out rod because the cole side dresser has its own engage/disengagement mechanism. Worst case I can find a #32 chain gear with a 1 diameter and put it in a lathe. But would prefer not to if possible.

I've found a lot of used parts from Burch stores (Burchstoretractors.com). They have a lot of stuff for cultivators, etc for the old implements that worked with A's, C's, etc.

Going by the part number Dennis listed, 514151R1, I searched at the Parts Depot & that returned 4 of those sprockets in stock. If you wish to go that route, you can get pricing through your local CaseIH dealer. Had hoped Duffield had one for you, but they are out of stock.

Why not switch to roller chain or a belt and save all the messing around looking for parts that are almost or are unavailable anymore. I realize people want to keep things original but some of that stuff was not available to use in those days for some jobs so they used what was available for the job. Now roller chain is available and not flat chain sprockets. A Vee belt would probably run it with fewer moving parts and less maintenance. The pulley would be smooth in the off season to not catch things when using tractor.

The only reason I havent converted to roller chain is because Im not sure how to go about it with keeping the same gearing. Would the roller chain or pulleys just have to be the same size diameter as the original gears?
