JD 2355 hydraulic problems

I am working on JD 2355. Everything seems to work fine when starting cold. After hydraulics have warmed up, If you shut tractor off in is hard to crank to restart, but turning steering wheel seems to help. Using it to rake hay and rake was very slow to lower and would not raise completely (twin v rake). This is when hot, when tractor cooled down, everything back to normal. Could anybody tell me where to start looking for the problem?

Frt hyd pump not having sufficient pressure inside pump crankcase to push pistons away from rotating shaft which would stop pump from building pressure makes engine crankshaft more difficult for starter to rotate. This is caused by an internal high pressure hyd leak. How many hrs of use since hyd filer was changed & suction screen checked/cleaned. One also needs to check to be sure hyd filter relief valve isn't stuck open. Also with hyd oil at operating temp look inside open hyd filler hole behind seat for moving oil. Moving oil indicates leaking 3 pt control valve seals

I just had my 1989 2355N repaired for hydraulic issues. Main culprit was trans pump was not providing sufficient pressure or flow to front pump and other items like hi/lo and pto clutch. All o-rings on hi/lo and pto clutch were very brittle and leaking, likely from overheating. When new trans pump was finally obtained and pto clutch rebuilt, front pump worked fine. Mechanic did raise hydraulic pressure at remotes about 300psi to spec reading.

Before repair, I needed to place hi/lo in lo to get remote hydraulics to operate.

For those interested, I paid Deere $2582 for parts and the private mechanic for 42 hours, $3570. ($85/hr) . Tractor has 7050 hours.
