Yes, amazing they weren't killed.
A neighbor that was run over by a semi of US 30, killed him.

I was mowing the yard next to the road and a car came flying by. It was very close. That's when I called my insurance agent and bought liability insurance on my old tractors..

The secondary artical about Lima, Ohio cought my eye because I only live about 15 mile from there. But just way to many wrecks because somebody was not paying atention. Just 2 days ago had a buggy ran over. People drive 65-70 MPH on a road only fit for 45MPH.

It happened a couple miles east of us.
The tractor driver must of been pretty
bad as he was helicoptered out.
And the investigation went on for half
the day.

Sounds like the older guy on the mower was sited with failure to yield to traffic.

It can be very easy to get caught up in what you are doing and forget about the other traffic around you, as if you were still in a hay field rather than on a road side.
