Garden was terrible dusty. Made hills, planted seeds and ran sprinkler for several hours.

Do you ever have trouble with squash bugs? I battle every year with the devils, making me limit my vine plants to cucumbers and zucchini. There, I am able to to find them. I don't like using pesticides because it kills what pollinators I have. I've found that a dish soap water mix sprayed on them will cause tmem to suffocate, or at least slow them down to where I can catch and pull their heads off. I make sure there are no bugs at the end of the season but they come flying in as adults every year from somewhere.

I mix cinnamon and diatomaceous earth together in a shaker, sprinkle it on.... Seems to keep them away. Not using pesticide is a fun challenge. Lol we haven't used any in our garden for years.
