John Deere A sleeves

Does anyone know where to get sleeves for a 1951 John Deere A? I have one that is cracked and Ive looked around for some sleeves and havent come up with anything. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Collin

The block was not sleeved, Sometimes a steel sleeve is put in if there was a problem, such as someone boring or a damaged bore.

what ever the machine shop rate is per hour. not cheap nowadays. many of them questions asked on here dont apply because we are not doing the work. something like this go to your machinist and get a quote.

I had my 60 done a few years ago. $900. Maybe steep, but used stock pistons with new rings. Starts on 2nd 'Rhumpa'. 130 PSI comp. HTH

The ones on page 23 of the link are in the ballpark. These would not be direct replacement sleeves for the Power Blocks MSD is talking about. These are basically repair sleeves a machinist would cut to fit. Melling is a well known long time supplier of engine parts. As for the gentleman who wants to know what it costs he needs to contact a machine shop.

Saving money with Engine rebuilds without using a torque wrench . And using water instead of antifreeze coolant . Has given a lot of business to machine shops .
