As in the Oliver S88 had 2 front flats when I went to pull it out of the shed after sitting all winter. Got them taken care of and went to fire up the Ford 841S and it had one front tire flat and one rear tire flat. Took care of the front one by putting slime in it and air it up. Rear tire I aired up but it would hold long enough to drive to the shop. Tube is bad where it comes out of the rim due to rust out stem hole in the rim. Tube will not be in till Monday so guess I have a couple day to fix the problem with the rim. I use the Ford to move the big round bales
 
We are chopping small grain silage right now. Came out this morning to find two different silage wagons each with a flat. Two new Titan 11lx15 implement tires and tubes cost $320 this morning and I mounted them. Tom
 
I have a new tube on order for the 841S but it will be Monday before it is in. Hope to fix the rim over the weekend so on Monday I can pick up the tube and get it back in so I can put hay up.
 


Sounds like you need an air pressure tender like a battery tender. Just run hoses to all of your tires and keep them aired up all the time. You could have them all Teed off from one line and turn that one on for a minute ever day, so that you protect your air compressor. Or you could get real fancy and use a solenoid valve on a timer to do it every day automatically.
 
what's with this year and flat tires? Couldn't keep the fronts on the planter tractor round. Always fixed 1 every day sometimes both, Always a piece of stalk. They're 4 yr Firestone 4 rib so they have been getting hard.
 
I have used those glue on stems for rear tractor tires successfully on tires with no liquid ballast in them. I have not tried them with fliud in the tire yet. Lot cheaper than tubes are if the tube is in good condition other than the stem.
