I live in NW Pennsylvania, and can't find which tree has these tiny seeds. When the wind gusts, it looks like it's drizzling these small seeds. They are very much like grass seed in appearance, no cotton on them or anything, just small seeds. Never noticed them before, but certainly abundant this year. Any ideas?

Sounds like you're positive they come from a tree. Why not focus on what the tree is, that'd be much easier than ID'ing the seed. Unless you're not sure of them coming from a tree in the first place?

They just dropped out of the sky when it got windy, never saw them before, assume from a tree that I didn't recognize...
