I think Ive got it dialed in pretty good. Im happy with the cut.
With that out of the way we pulled out the old John Deere wagon I keep saying Im going to do something with. Got a new hose on it and tried it out.

Lifts just fine! We decided that we really didnt need the end gate in it for our use. We will probably use it as a utility wagon. Maybe some hay, maybe haul some dirt. So we took it off.

Then son cleaned out the back.

We power washed it and parked it in the sun to dry out. Im thinking of dumping some water sealer on it. All in all it was a good day of running old stuff!

I need to start cutting my hay. Bit this year doing ay will be almost unafordable due to the cost of fuel. But it has to be done either way you look at it.

Nice pictures! You will probably find more uses for the front-end loader than you can imagine since yall got it going. Mine has become like a right hand and arm for me.

I priced boiled linseed oil the other day when I was in town. fifty dollars a gallon. Ive got some Thompson water seal here I might use. But I also have a lot of old oil. Just want get something on the deck.

Last year I started out selling hay for $35 a bale then due to fuel cost I went up to $40 per bale. This year I am looking at $50-60 a bale maybe more

Sweet Feet, I will give you a call when we get home and I can tell you more about the Sale. it was a great day we had a grand ole time. I think I went threw two papers of chewing tobacco. LOL . Old Scovy.

Sounds good, Jack. If I am at work and not able to answer... just leave a message and I will call you back on a break.

Go with linseed oil, it will penetrate better and will last longer than the Thompson's.
Ever wonder why w world sells stuff cheap?
It's stuff has been doctored down to be less effective. Go with the good stuff, it will last longer and better. GG

I would never put oil on a wood floor, it never gets so it is not slick. I would do machinery repair on my wood floor trailer and any gearbox that had oil in would leave a big mess that could not be cleaned up and was always a slick spot. Now out of machinery repair bussiness for the Amish. So no floors to get slick.
