Trailer Lights Update

I go them working today!! All who said ground were correct. I started at the plug on the truck, took ground loose, shined it up, cut off the eye and soldered on a new one with heat shrink tape on it. Then did the same at the junction box on the trailer, still no brake or turn signal. I took both lights out on the left side and saw a ground inside, so I took it off and shined it up and replaced the eye and soldered it on. Tried the lights and all work now. Thanks for the help!!! Chris

Bad grounds cause all kinds of funny problems. I had a trailer when I use the turn signals the running lights would blink with them. With help from here I checked the grounds and all fixed.

I had a car that the right turn signal would work and the left one would not. It turned out to be a bad ground on the right side! I spent three hours chasing that thing :)
