Im having a hard time finding the right upper Grill Ive tried two so far and they did not fit one was a plactic C9NN8A163AG And the other was metal C7NN8150G The metal one was closer has any one had this problem finding the right Grill? I gave new Holland the number off the tractor and they confirmed it with a 1971

Well try this again
The grills you listed fit mid 68-75 Ford 2,3,4 and 5000 models as we as the 7000

Does your tractor have a flat lower grill or is it rounded on the sides
Post the tractors numbers so we can confirm the year

The tractor # 1029
C311196
The Bottom grill is flat with the headlights in it the mounting
bolts are on the middle on each side

You need to have 7-10 post before you can add photos
Are the 4 tabs in the top section for the mounting screws that holds the upper grill in place

The plastic one is too rounded on the corners And too narrow
and doesnt sit deep enough to line up with the screw holes.
The metal one is a little bigger but the lower corners hit the
sides of the radiator shell. The upper corners on the tractor
radiator shell Have a small Radius corner the plastic grill has
a large radius

Looks like your shell has been deformed and someone tried to hammer it back into shape. How well does the shell fit the tractor? The shell may need some careful straightening for the inserts to fit properly. Good luck.

Sorry been the the hay fields finishing baling before more rain comes in today
Aftermarket grills for the lands of almost fits are pretty disheartening, the plastic grill is way off but you may be able to tweak the other one to make it fit
If the other one is actually chromed steel you'll need to scuff and paint it, the chrome is so thin my nephews started rusting after the first time he washed the tractor
I'll try to take a photo of the factory aluminum grills in my 4000's

I had a 4000 a 65 model with steel grill and a 4000 a 68 model with a plastic grill. I am in the USA in Ohio and I have never saw a tractor her in the states with headlights in the grill. Only pictures of Euarepen tractors with headlights in the grill. So where is the poster located?

Photo of my grill, it doesnt have the kickout at the bottom like yours

Kickout on the bottom of yours
You could flatten that out with a little work
