Hey guys have a B414 gas 144 engine have trouble with zenith vn carb some one was telling me that I could use a Willys keep carb does anybody have any info on a part number for carb also would it be hard to hook it up any help would be appreciated Thanks guys

ooh wow now we have to be magicians. tractor is u draft carb, and is the jeep the same? not even a picture to go by or any info . why not just get the actual carb cleaned or what ever is wrong with it. like give some info why u want this done. nothing hard about a carb,... clean them and good to go.

If the IH is updraft, the Willis is not. I own one and they are downdraft. Could it be done, sure with a lot of fabrication and extreme creativity on the fly. Jim

Willys Jeep 4 cylinder carburetor is going to be a down draft Carter WO (flathead), or Carter YF downdraft (F head 4). Neither would be compatible with an updraft tractor application. There was a rare sidedraft carburetor made to make the Willys F head 4 fit in low clearance industrial applications and early Jeeps.

The B414 i've been around has a down draft carb.

You are correct, BC144 is down draft.
