Hello,
I have a Farmall H that is frozen and I have decided it is better worth my money to replace the pistons and sleeves- im set on that. I would eventually like to restore it and if its only a little more, to buy kerosene pistons, since it was originally kerosene. The engine has knuckle pistons currently. Was the head replaced with a gas head so I can no longer use lower compression flat topped pistons? Number on the block is 6685DE and I have a 36 2533-RI o top of the head, in with the valves. Let me know if anyone needs pictures to tell. I just dont know if the pistons would work with the potentially replaced gas head. I already have the kerosene manifold and aux. tank.
