Sometimes you have to make do (hydraulic)

I bought a grapple bucket to put on my loader. Being the fiscally conservative person that I am, it was a used bucket, but not meant for the loader I have. So cut off the old mounts, fabbed up new ones to fit.

Figured Id put on new hydraulic hoses while I was at it. The only thing I didnt really think about was this bucket has European lineage. Turns out the cylinders have BSPT ports on them. I ordered some BSPT to NPT adapters, but they are a couple weeks out at least and I want to get some work done. So time to be resourceful.

That is some great work!

I see the skull too, funny...

Have you tried McMaster Carr for your fittings? I ordered those type of fittings for my Isuzu engine in my skid loader years ago and got them in 2 days. Just thought Id pass the info on. Kow Farmer Kurt

Looks good!! 40 years ago, I would have tried that if I had thought of it but if I tried that now, I'd probably braze the swivel also.
