Wish that shot was a wider view to give us a peak of the
rest of the shed. Hope MJ or Majorman chime in with
some info here. What was the production run and maybe
some engine specs.
Side note: the morning stooges on the rock station were
talking nonsense that lead to tractor references. The fella
on the microphone made a reference to Massey Harris.
Not MF or JD. I was taken back and maybe a bit
impressed.

I do not have a lot of information on them apart from there being 17,000 built from 1948 to 1958. They were fitted with the ubiquitous Perkins P6 engine, the same one that Ford were fitting into the Fordson E27N around the same time. This was rated at 46 hp.
The Massey was a great contractors tractor and many were used on threshing sets.
The other tractors in the picture, which was taken at the Somerset Show in 2009 are a Fordson Major Diesel and a David Brown 990 (I think).
Here is one from our local show again with a David Brown in attendance.
