Can anybody tell me if theres anything special about this tractor? Its at my daughters polo field at college it doesnt work none of the girls on the team know how to work on tractors they dont have family nearby to help them in the club doesnt have enough money to take it to a shop so they posted on Facebook marketplace to sell it and said can somebody make us an offer on it and today theyve had a bidding war all day and I told my daughter I would look into it and see if I can find if theres anything special about this tractor that would make it worth more!

A 7108 is a Ford loader, the component #804162 narrows it to a 7108-series-loader-for-1920-tractors
 
The numbers for the tractor are on the transmission housing under the left hand floor board. There should be a tag as well as stamped into the housing.

If its a 1520-1920 model tractor that ladder is on, those are nice little tractors. I have a 1720.

They are nearly useless without front wheel assist, as with most newer compact class tractors.

The front end parts are difficult to find if something is wore out on the front drive axle.

Ford/ New Holland/ CNH has gone through many changes over the past few decades, and so their new compact tractors use different engines, transmissions, drive axles from totally different manufacturers now.

And so finding parts in general is not impossible, but its a little more difficult than finding good old school USA built tractor parts.

7108 is the loader number not the tractor number, I have a 1720 my dad has a 1520 my neighbor has a 1920 same loader on all three tractors, look at the hood, see if any numbers are left, if noe left side of transmission there should be a tag indicating model number,
 
Thank you! Yes she didnt know it was the loader vin plate. She sold the whole tractor loader and all tonight for $2500. So it must have looked good to the buyer!
