Hi all I'm a Newby to here hope I'm doing it right. I'm having Mager problems with all the code's on my ted fergy left hand side of block is numbers s 128.376. And on the dash has ted 9351 as other numbers I can't read. And on the transmission casing it reads 901 with a 3 next to it. If anyone could please help me with the year date I would be most grateful thanks phillk

If it was built in England, it is a 1947, if in Detroit, it is a 1949.

The TE indicates made in England, the D (I think) indicates a distillate
capable engine. The 9351 is a 47 year model.

Any other numbers are casting numbers and date of casting codes.

Glad I can help, as far as restoration, someone else may be able to help. I use my 51 all the time. But she ain't pretty.
