My folks came over today, sorta become a tradition, my dad plows our garden! He really liked the '75 long stripe. Before anyone mentions it, he ain't riding the clutch and brake, just looks that way. He also took a couple laps on the '39 H, ,71 lo-boy 154, and my wife's new Massey backhoe. My mom just stands around looking at here watch! Lol.

hey gramps, do you ever get an oil filter that wont fit the farmall cub. i did an oil change on my 52 cub today and got a filter from this site. the hole down the center of the filter was too small to put the bolt thru, and it did not come with the rubber gasket. i dug around the barn and found a napa gold filter that fit and it had the gasket in it weird.

Way to wet here to do anything like that. I tried to do a bit of tilling today and after doing a 4X4 area I gave up. Going to get wet putting up the chickens in a few minutes since it is raining yet again

GPL. WOW. you are truly a blessed man. Speaking about loving parents wife children grandchildren and a solid Christian based church. You and your lovely wife seem to be in good health. Besides being blessed you are very talented with your hands and mind. That my friend are the the ingredients for success. Wingnut

Well Glen a beaver may ave made a mistake today. I wet out to check on eggs and saw 2 beavers playing in the small lake. I made a fast walk back to the house and grabbed my SKS and went back out to the chicken pen I took a shot at one and well they both disappeared and I have not seen them again. Not sure if I got it but if I didn't I am sure it didn't like the hit in the water close to it

rich, they are wiley little rascals. so far we got a handle on ours over the winter, i hope. i was out checking fields today and found a couple spots where the badgers are digging up gophers and voles. it never ends! we have seen a bald eagle now for several days in my timber. maybe he will get some of them rodents.

i did notice too that the protrusion on the filter was shorter than on the fleet guard filter. i think i am going to stick with the fleet guardf filters.

Last week I sent Kevin a picture of a Bald eagle that was up the road from me. Common to see them here in the winter. I did rebait the snares after I took the shot at the beaver. Wind was so strong here today that I felt the water off the lake from the shot. Wish O knew for sure if I hit it but it was gone as soon as the shot hit the water. By the way this is the same gun I used to take a doe deer out at 250-300 yards this past deer season

Looks like the rolling cutter is not doing its job. When we plowed the furrow was cut clean and jointers were also set proper

This is the only pic of my dearborn 2 bottom plow.
Everything has been replaced. In mint condition. No parts missing

I never used it.. Use it as an ornament in front of my pole barn..

I would like to sell it to someone who would put it to work..
So if you make it to Terre Haute, I'll make you a deal.

I don't have a Cub, so maybe I'll trade Ornaments.

Always use a coulter for every thing. Works better and pulls easier and plow will last longer.

Very few use coulters around here except at shows. The soil is roo loose and they cause more trouble than good.

Glad you're making progress, been nuts here.
We did get two corn fields planted.
Got almost half inch of rain this morning.
Lots of wind Sat day and evening, lots. GG
