And I thought $1.79 was high on this winter's contract...............................................................sheesh!

I'd be shickled titless with that price. I paid $5.199 last week.

Some of that is because I'm a small user - one 250 pound pig for my generator.

I prepaid for more than I needed and sold a couple hundred gallons off my contract to a neighbor. I let him have it at my contract price of $1.42,
that's in SEMN.

Propane is a huge money maker, all they have in costs is compressing it, storage and transport. Propane is a byproduct of processing natural gas, or refining gasoline. I'm not sure if propane has ever been made on purpose, it's a never ending supply as long as we use natural gas or gasoline.

I have been told that it is made by chemically cracking to get propane. I would think that most all crude is processed that way now.

I get a Ag discount for the amount we use
Just filled the tanks last week
2700 gallon at $2.04 per
Its gone up 25 cents since last fill in late February
