then was eight behind it.. 656. ..Just a play on the
numbers.

The neighbor that filled our bunker had a 1456 on the chopper, had a hard time getting the boxes unloaded fast enough. Way before all the big
end dumps and wagons.

I used to only ever see these with a cab. Would many/any have been
bought new without one ???
Or do collectors prefer no cab ?? Just take it off and convert it to a
school bus catching shelter

Very few tractors came with a factory cab until the 70's. Deere and Case came out with good cabs in the early 70's. International didn't have a good cab until several years later. I would guess that in 1969 - 1971 when the xx56 series tractors were built that less than 10% came with a cab. Many were fitted with an after market cab. Hiniker and Cozy cabs were a popular add on.
