White 4-150 hydrolic whining

Hello, my white 4-150 hydrolic pump makes a whining noise when rpm's goes up.
Oil and filter are new.
Steering works fine.
Bad pressure on the outlets.
Looks like air bubbles in the oil reservoir.
When I turn the compensator screw, nothing changes.
When I turn steering wheel it stops whinning until I stop turning.
Help is appreciated, thanks Wim.

Your best bet is to follow the testing
sequence as provided in the manual. If you
dont have the manual, fittings, hose's and
guages to do it as called out, it gets
frustrating and many times produces no
positive results. If you dont have all of
the equipment, find someone that knows the
procedure and has the equipment.

Did this start after changing the oil and filter?

Could be just air trapped in the oil. It sometimes takes time to work out,
usually when it's shut off long enough for the air to settle up and out.

Be sure to keep the fluid topped up, the level will drop as the air comes out.
If it gets low enough to suck air, the process starts all over!

Are the filters spin on or element filters? If element did the seal ring at the base get changed? Check the gasket at the top of the canister? Leak on a suction line or tank lid below oil level? Sounds like air or air sucked into the oil.

Tractor was not running for 20 years, so I don't now if the problem is new.

The filter is a element filter.
I bypass the filter housing and still whining.
Oil level is full.
I noticed that the pump get warm after 5 minutes running??

Could be the unloader valve is stuck,
could be one of the remote control valves
or if it has 3 point that valve is
bypassing a little oil just to name a few.
My guess is that there is either a stuck
valve or a little oil leaking by
somewhere, priorty valve maybe?
You really do need to go through the
trouble shooting sequence, in order to
find it.
Should be same as a 2-105, with some
differances in the brake and steering
valves as i belive the axles are the same.
Do you have a manual?
If not, $17.and change and you can get it
on you computer, only takes a few minutes.
You can throw alot of money away in the by
guess and by gosh solution.
