Carb cleaner alternative?

ooh my thats cheap i sure would not complain. gunk was 47.00 a gallon about 3 years ago when i bought it. remember it dont spoil , its there for your next carb.

Lots of alternatives.

Full strength Purple Power works.

Boil in vinegar.

Muriatic acid works for calcium when one has sat with water in the bowl, but don't leave aluminum in it, just dip and rinse.
 
Pinesol heated up to boiling works pretty good. Especially on some of the more sensitive aluminum carbs. I use it when cleaning snow machine carbs.
 
I use Pinesol on small engines. It seems to work very well and then just wash it with water and blow it out. I also use E-85 on a tooth brush for the external if it is real bad.

he Rochester 2 jet was made from zinc.
