I remember ground like that in the panhandle of Okla. Only trees to be seen was around neighbor's houses 2 or more miles away.

anyone know how many 4-270 tractors were made? i dont think it could be many?

These are thought to be production numbers of White 4-270's.
1983 - 59 , 1984- 803 , 1985 - 0 , 1987 - 19 , 1988 - 24, total production- 924. Standard was 3306 CAT engine 638 c i . Factory weight 30,000.
There was a 4-325 White tractor. Only 3 were built. Two were sold in Iowa, one in Indiana not known if any of these still in existence.

i own one here in wis, there are several in the area. mine is still used, tile plow hitched to it.took tile plow off few years ago as my nieghbor borrowered my
cih 9150, cause their steiger broke down, so the 4-270 was back on field work for couple years
