Many FedEx

Trailers. Factory is 2 miles from my place in the north end.

40 years ago it was a JI Case plant that made pay loaders.

Great Dane plant also makes many trailers for Amazon.

Next time you are on the road look for Great Dane trailers.

About 1 year wait for a new trailer

If anyone needs a job, Great Dane is always hiring. Have to pass a drug test. Not a written test.
They have a second plant East of Brazil, In.
They may have moved the trailer operation to Terre Haute..
Could be lack of employees. Not sure..
Great Dane makes a lot of trailers for Amazon and FedEx.

Dont need to look on the road. I have 3 backed into my docks right now. They are older 48ft trailers, but have held up very well. I have 2 53ft on the road, both have had a lot of work done to the floors since we bought them, but they were used when we got them so I dont know how much abuse they got before we bought them.

FYI, Great Dane plant is about 1 mile east of the Wabash river.

Have a plant here in Wayne Nebraska, was by there a month ago, a lot of trailers sitting around, some were for Walmart.

Great Dane used to be the top of the line trailers . Not sure what is now. If a trailer has side on it it better have a hoist or I'll not load it or pull it. A box trailer means warehouses, and that means setting around for appointments. Those suck.

is that the old wabash plant there supposed to be out there too i worked for wabash in dunmore pa i know they down sized closed a lot of branches all over country
