Vinyl, plastic UV protection

What products are available to put on vinyl or plastic that is exposed to sunlight to slow deterioration?

There are a number of plastic/vinyl things I would use this on but this is specifically for a large above
ground swimming pool. The pump fittings are showing signs of deterioration as are the exterior vinyl of
the pool liner itself.

Whatever you do Jim, DON NOT use Armor All ...... don't say you haven't been warned. As a second comment, I don't think there is anything that works. Refresh temporarily maybe, protect over time I don't know of anything that really works.
 
I had an above ground pool in Pensacola, FL lots of UV year round.
I painted the external pipes a medium blue to go with the color of pool exterior.
The vinyl liner held up very well had eight years into it before we took it down.
It was just a plain jane 18 foot round one from Wal-Mart.
But I had a full size conventional pump, sand filter and homemade solar heating setup on it.

If your pool design allows, you might be able to neatly install vinyl over the liner hanging out?
Like pvc roof valley flashing or something similar.

Are those fittings PVC type pipe fittings?

The reason I ask is that I had some PVC showing on the exterior of the house and got advise from the paint folk about what to paint it with.

I will have to look to see if I still have the can. It was normal stuff you could get anywhere.

So far the best product I've found for the vinyl top on my car is the tire black stuff. I know it's silicone but I will deal with that if I need to paint the car. If you do a google search most recommend the 303 Protectant but it's not available in my area. I've used a product called Bumper Magic but every time it gets rained on it's all over the windshield. I've also used Turtle Wax Trim Restorer which worked pretty good.
