F20 Wont Start

Recently bought a rebuilt carburetor for my F20. Installed it on the tractor, and it ran for 2 months. Winterized the tractor and this week I started getting all my engines and tractors ready for a show next month. Well the tractor will not start. Itll pop for a couple seconds and nothing. Timing is good, spark is good. Plugs are bone dry after cranking, seems like it is not sucking any fuel up into the cylinders. Any suggestions or direction on this problem??

My guess is the float is stuck. Tap on the side of the carb with a screwdriver handle as you turn it over. If that doesn't succeed try fuel
flow from the carb , should be a steady unrestricted flow that is constant. Dry plugs means no fuel is going into the chamber for what ever
reason

What kind of spark test did you do?
Did you just turn it over until you
seen one single spark, and say OK? Or
did you see if it consistently has
spark to the right corresponding
plugs?
Reason I ask is, it's common for
points in mag to corrode up or
whatever. And if they do, they might
send out an occasional spark once in
awhile, or weak spark all the time, or
other related spark problem.
My point being, seeing one individual
spark, might not be an adequate spark
test.

Check out spark further if Michael
Soldan's suggestion don't work. He has
a really good idea. Likely a stuck
needle in the carb float. Likely can
be freed by tapping on carb with
screwdriver. Check by opening or
removing carb drain. Gas flow should
continue to run out of drain, after an
approximate amount the carb bowl
holds, runs out.

If carb rebuild kit included a rubber
tipped float needle, those rubber tips
are more prone to stick (my opinion).
I avoid those if I can.

Post back, if you don't get it going,
with an update.

Do check the spark at the plug wire end of each wire. Should get a 1/4 inch
spark to ground.

A quick and simple test for fuel and a runnable engine, take the air cleaner
hose off the carb, hold your hand over the air inlet and crank the engine
through.

You should get strong, steady vacuum and your hand wet with gas.

No or intermittent vacuum is stuck or sticking valves.

Vacuum and no gas is an empty carb bowl or clogged main jet.

Where are these primer cups? I have a 35 and a 37 F20. They both have cups on top of the valve covers, but they are for oiling the rocker arms which get no oil from the oil pump.
