Thats one of my favorites as well . That soils have been a lot
of work but Id like to do it anyway

Back in the 60's dad and grandpa used to load 3 sling loads on a trailer then go unload. I would have thought a wagon would be a lot faster than having to unhitch the trailer each load. What did I know I was just 3or 4 years old then.

Would you like 300+ assorted mystery and romance novels, with a few inspirational and biographical books mixed in here and there?

My mom was an avid reader especially in her later years and built up a stack of books that took up an entire corner of the living room.

We can't figure out what to do with them. Nobody wants them.

I would like them but I have more books than I know what to
do with already . Maybe the jail would take them

We called it a hay loader and I drove the horses for dad. Ours was a Minnesota I believe and it used wood slats strung together with rope as I also recall dad replacing the ropes quite often.

Three slings to a load and the team pulled the hay rope that carried the slings of hay up into the barn hay mow.

I went to the library and asked for a book about hydraulics and they didn't have anything on hand. I lost my respect for our local library after that.

Fiction, drama, some history and biography is what you find n a library. Maybe an old motors manual if they haven't thrown them out.

im a big fan of those books, i always enjoy seeing how things were done in the oldtimes!
thanks for sharing them with us!

I have quite a few of those Operation, Care, and Repair of Farm Machinery books. Lots of good information in them, even today. I have also been a packrat with lots of old tractor magazines. I'd like to see them go to people who would read & enjoy them. What is a good way to do that, some go back thirty years.
