my dad has lots of good stories of the allcrop 60 that his dad bought new in 1949. With engine power, bagger and hydraulic manual header lift. Pulled for decades behind Graham Bradley for custom farming. Started out as the only combine
in the operation, but later was demoted to only clover seed. Gave very clean samples for 30 years before lost in a barn fire.

Then 20 years later, i drug home allcrop 66, pto drive and bulk bin. Dad never thought he would run an all crop again but he was back at it, but only used it for oats

Yep, I rode a bagger 60 some and then we moved up to a 66 and when the 72 was bought, I thought I was in Heaven.
All pulled with a 49 JD A.

AC 60 bagger. My grandfather ran one during the war, with the shortage of manpower he did a lot of custom work, my dad did the bagging. They pulled it with 39 JD B, it had the power unit on the combine. So they were running two B motors. Later we had a AC 66 that dad ran with the JD G, it was PTO powered with a bin. I can remember laying in the straw rack replacing cylinder bars.

My dad had a 60 and later a 66. I remember him making a sunflower header for a
neighbours 60. Also recall using Sack
Mend , a white glue to repair the tarps on the header.

We had several, PTO and non-baggers.

Several years ago I was mowing grass with a 24hp garden tractor with a 54 inch deck when it dawned on me, in my younger days I'd spent days combining wheat with an AC combine that took only a 6 inch wider swath than the mower I was on.

Anybody ever see a self-propelled side dumper? I have seen one not to many years ago that was used exclusively for alfalfa combining.

Had an All-Crop 60 with hydraulics on the header. Pulled it with a JD D, no live PTO It really did a good clean job.

Had an AC 90 pto I ran with the Case DC. Had the scour clean used it for oats and beans. Lost it in a barn fire.
