Anyone know what size threads are on
the spindle. My threads are stripped.
Wanted to try to cut new threads. This is on a Ariens ikonx52 mower.

For me there is too much danger of losing a blade to re tape the threads,just replace the spindle.

Agree. Unless there is very negligible damage and 90% of the nut is on perfect threads I would replace it. Jim

You can look it up per your serial number but the middle serial number units are showing 0.625-18 thread.

You gonna weld over the old threads and turn in new threads??

According to the part chart on the previous post the part number was superseeded by part number 51537200 which is currently not available on the Ariens/Gravely site. Amazon does claim to have one left.
