I just bought an end transport planter with only a 3 point hook-up. I'm wanting to pull it with a pickup to bring it home down the highway. Any idea how to do this? Is there an end for the tongue that would hitch onto the truck with a hitch pin?

There should be, it might be a 1 1/8 hole, and i hope you got a3/4 ton pickup or a 1 ton, there pretty heavy, bring along a Hanydman jack, and a air tank!

My brother tried that with a 3/4 ton. Changed his
mind and put it on the deck of a 3 ton. Said it was
the best move he made as it was heavy

Didn't they make them with a draw pin tongue? IF so that might be the easiest plan. Or load it and bring it. If not to far just take tractor over and hitch up bring home.

Hauled my Great Plains drill with 2 point hitch with my Dodge Cummins pkup. Lifted it up at the dealer and backed the pkup under until the
hitch was forward of the ball...chained it down and took off. 20 drill.

A semi-mount mower conditioner that I used to have had an available transport bracket that hooked into the mower hitch and onto a drawbar. You may find that there is one available.
