I think those were simpler and better times.
I use to tell people that I enjoyed a good days work and at the end of the day, look at what I accomplished.
I still enjoy some days like that.
BUT the aches and pains of being nearly 70 make it a bit less enjoyable.

An old farmer once told me the only good thing about the good old days is they are gone. But it was more simple I will admit.

I don't know today we go shopping for a weeks food in about 30 minutes,when I was growing up we had chickens,milked cows,grew a big garden,etc to get the same things we pick up in a few minutes.Everything had to be planned a couple years out.Many people today would starve to death or die of exposure trying to live like we did.Life was a lot more complicated then compared to now as far as I'm concerned.

Nothing to stop anyone from living like that now but very few choose to and if they do they sure won't be posting anything about it with a computer on the internet.
