Anyone out there sharp on a TD 8 IH brake /steering system I have got a mystery on one I bought that has been into before

Hello John welcome to YT! I really know nothing about
your machine, but want to pass on at least one piece
of info to you. In the link is a website of a company in
Washington state that deals mainly in clutch and brake
parts for older crawlers and dozers. The page I linked
only shows a BTD8 which is apparently a British built
model. If you click the link they have for it that takes
you to the TD6 page and mentions some similarities
there. I am mainly telling you this because they have
links to manuals near the bottom of their parts listing.
So if for example you open the link, scroll down to the
2nd set of yellow boxes and TD6 and open that scroll
down near the bottom again and there is where you will
find the links. In a web search I also see there are a
couple of later model TD8s shown that are affiliated
with Dressesr so not sure if you may have one of
those. If you are not familiar with a forum the other
topic discussion sections fivewindow mentioned can
be accessed through the ..hop to.. or ..jump to.. drop
boxes at the bottom of the replies. Hit reply here to
and other comments or info to this ..thread.. Good
luck!

There is one guy on the crawler form that knows them . I do not do industrial , i have ran a TD 8 once and did not like it when a dealer brought one out for demo that and a T D 15 and a T D 12 Did not like any of them after working each for a day .

I guess I am your man about 25 years ih experience and tore down and worked on many td8 c/d/e/ g all of them. e-mail is open send me a phone numb er and I will call you

jm I am not smart enough to figures out how to get your e mail or phone from this site Here goes I bought this TD 8 with the impression steering clutches were out I have replaced the worn ones. I have rebuilt what I call a hydraulic actuator on the left side. I still cannot turn left. When I put the levers on the eccentric cams in front when I pull the right one to the hydraulic actuator it pulls the floating pad into the disc as it should. The left pulls it away from the disc. Id this correct ? My number is (318) 446-0860 Appreciate any help
