Looks to me like an early 77.

Albeit faded you can make 88 on the side panel.

The lip at the bottom of the grill gave it away before I saw the side cover. 88.

Looks like the tractor is a survivor! In addition, I have a big wheel lawn mower but in much better condition than the one in the pics. Well balanced mower that pushes really easy. Thanks for the post. Wingnut
