I got a yard stick from a McCormick & Deereing dealer either before, or not long after becoming part of IHC. Not sure when the buy out occured and the McCormick & Deereing name was dropped from dealerships, but the dealer owners personal name on the stick dates it back to the teens or 20's.
At the price those signs are going for, I think I can stand to look at the bare sheeting on the shop walls. Or, buy some paints, and get out the brushes.

License plates have gotten out of hand around here. Started collecting them about 1980 and then switched to the dealer advertising plastic plates. About ten years ago I hauled three big boxes of Illinois plates to the junk yard because the Il. plates pretty much looked the same. I still got a pile of plates out in the corner of my shed.
