Truck for SV

Not too sure on the fender flares, or that style running boards. The rest i think is really nice !
 
That is one awesome retro pickup! I had a 72 GMC decades ago. It was only 2 wheel drive, but so simple to work on. I miss that old truck. Kow Farmer
 
Must be a restomod. That is probably a new front clip added on because that year truck did not come as a 4 door option. Wingnut

Crew cabs have pretty much always been available but were sold mostly to utility companies, railroads, construction contractors, etc.

I think the truck in the photo is actually a Chevy C 50 or maybe a C 60, or at least the cab is from one of those trucks.
 
That is pretty cool. Wonder if that cab was fabbed from a suburban?? If so, think it has a 2nd door on the passenger side? The grill at least looks like it is from a c-60.

I'm guessing mileage isn't great.
 
GM did not make a crew cab until 1973 in any size truck by the factory.
Keywords by the factory

No four door burbs until 1973 as well.

My son just picked up an 86 Chevy 4 door, long box dually. All original, no modifications to it.
 
Ive got my eye on one of those right now to do a 12 valve Cummins swap used to be the main ranch heavy hauler hauled in that lots of times to gather cattle off the range now its so old and week it can hardly pull itself
 
This ones got a 454 in it but it sounds like it dropped a valve. We talked about a Cummins in it too. Would be a really nice truck with one of those in it.
 
Thats kinda what this is one is a blown up 454 but the rest of the truck is pretty good and that 4 door would be nice
