My Kiota tractor has a leak in the fuel tank. I was wondering if anyone had any experience repairing a plastic diesel tank.

Patched one long ago on a snowmobile and it worked - some kind of epoxy. But I don't remember any details.

Depends on why it's leaking.
If stress cracked, punctured, rubbed through, and the cause can be prevented from happening again, then yes it can most likely be welded.
You can buy the welding kit at Harbor Freight. Works like a soldering iron with plastic.
But if it's sun baked, major damaged then no, best replace it.

Bondic may work though I haven't tried it on a fuel tank.

I did one on my tractor with a plastic tank. I found an auto body shop that had experience with repairing plastic.

Seal -All should work, it comes in a Bright yellow and Red tube,farm supply and automotive stores have it, But it got to sit 24 hours,

I have used RV plastic tank repair from Napa. The kit I used has epoxy you mix up then lay a fiberglass patch over.
