Kubota L4060 hst ?

A local reputable longtime dealer has a 2015 with 1150 or so hours on it. Cab loader with turf tires. Loader is faded and need a new battery and door seal. From what Im hearing they should be as good as say a JD 3039 provided both are hydrostatic which finding a non hydro in either used is near impossible. Will they lift very much? Such as a pallet with say a couple dozen rolls of electrical wire or the likes? Any good blowing snow? Tks

L4060 with the LA805 is rated at 2200Lb lift at the loader pivot pin. We always throw 18 100 lb weights in the bucket and check them before delivery. You said you were looking for something non hydrostatic. If you ever have one you will never go back the other way. Pretty trouble free unit. I think you will be satisfied. I had rather have r4 tires for general loader use but nothing wrong with the turf.

Thank you Jm, it is an 805 loader. The only reason I say non hydro is my father in law has a Massey non hydro and has had 2 hydro Kubotas previously the same size and said the Massey has a lot more lift but Ive never used either. I have some trades if theyre interested maybe well make a deal if not Ill wait and see what I can get by selling locally and look harder later on.

It may well have been size of the Massey vrs. size of the KUBOTA but gear drive vrs Hydro tractor for tractor you should see no lift difference. The ability to run in the pile and not stall the motor or slip the clutch just makes the hydro better. Right no in that L series 73% that are sold are Hydrostatics so yes be hard to find one that is not.

I have a Ford 1210 hydro with loader and snowblower. Would NOT have it any other way! Loader work- slow-up while working the bucket full. Can't beat it.
Same with snowblower work...go as fast or slow as needed depending on depth and hardness, then slow down for that big drift. All without shifting. Mine has a heal/toe pedal so don't have to move foot sideways like the green ones. Not that there's anything wrong with them either. Just my opinion.

Thank you all , I have pretty much no experience with compacts , any info to me is very helpful

jm covered the loader questions very well. As for blowing snow, hydro is the only way to go. With the correct blower for that tractor, it will throw anything you get. I have turf tires on all my compacts and they work just fine in snow without chains.

What does that screen or netting you have on the back of the tractor in the first two pictures do or what purpose does it serve? Just curious.

When you are baking in with a log grapple or brush hogging keeps the back of your head safe. One time my dad was mowing some brush and a chunk came out from under the mower and knocked him out, good thing the tractor stalled. After that he wore a motorcycle helmet doing brush.

I've only had that tractor for a week and haven't used it yet. However, I rented a Micro Mini Kubota excavator 4 years ago that had the same hoe on it and was very impressed with the amount of work it would do.
