Rain/sleet

From looking at radar it's been hanging over your area for quite a while. I just hope you get enough to matter. We ended up with 3.1 inches from the rain Monday.
 
John, 20 or 25 miles south of you we got only a half inch of rain Monday. Here's hoping we get some moisture. Have you noticed that virtually all the corn ground is ready for planting? This morning I tried to stop at a grocery store and couldn't find ONE parking place in the whole lot. I suspect everyone is panicked about the end of the world storm warning. kelly
 
Yeah. I had to go to HEB Buda for something my wife forgot yesterday. At 9 it was crowded but you couldn't even see the gas pumps. Cars and trucks packed all around them. people were getting nasty.
 
Its been over 90 days for us with no moisture in Jack Co. Tx. My wheat looks terrible. Its been spitting ran and sleet for a few hours now, and just started snowing.
 
7 PM here in Cherokee County, nothing here yet. 51* but suppose to be freezing in the morning. The weather guessers have been going wild
 
When I see 'Cherokee County' a tune pops into my head with the words- 'you're the reason God made Oklahoma'. I see there are 8 Cherokee counties.
 
It started raining here in Denton County about 5 this afternoon. We just got home from taking care of the show pigs. It is starting to freeze here now. I salted down the front porch and steps. We need the rain here real bad also. We have not had any rain here at all this week.
 
Only got .64 in Burleson so far, and the temp is at 32 at 8:15P.

Had a couple little trace rains, but best I can remember this is the most we've had in 3 months!
 
Been at least a hundred days without measurable rain here in Medina county too. We havent got anything from this storm yet but the wind. Supposed to be freezing here by morning also. Started feeding cows this afternoon and have a load sitting in the driveway right now. Bad as we need moisture I dont want ice. Tony
 
The rain in Dallas last night came slow, and so far, not much of it. A little snow. 24 degrees, so I guess we're in winter now.

We got about .5 of sleet then around 4 of snow. Its beginning to let up, so by Friday it will be gone.
