There's a 1980 5050 Allis Chalmers tractor coming up on a local online auction.
I looked at it this morning and it looks like a clean, straight tractor with good paint and 3300 hours on the meter. The auction notes say a fuel leak at the fuel pump as the only negative. I wouldn't think that would take much to fix.
Does anyone know anything about them? Good, bad, or ugly? I've been thinking for a while about getting rid of my D19 Allis and my M Farmall and getting one tractor that would do what I currently do with both of those. This 5050 looks like it would be a lot easier to get on and off of than my D19 or M, either one.
