Enlist herbicide formulation

I am growing enlist soybeans this year for the first time and was wondering if its ok to put my own combination of allowed chemicals together!Examples: pint of 24D, quart of Roundup, some liberty herbicide, if I can source some. Seems like I could save $$ by formulating myself. Anyone else try this? As I said, this is first time using the herbicide. Thanks for your response!

In New York State we have Cornell Recommends to help with that which is a publication put out by the extension system. Most
chemicals have information sheets that shows formulas for their product when combined with other products. Do you work with a chemical
dealer? They would be another source. Not all states are unrestricted in terms of chemicals permitted so you may want to check
there for restrictions as it pertains to your farm. I find lots of information (in general) online by looking on manufacturer
sites.

Thanks for the reply! Do you mean research on the amount of chemical? Dont know exactly what you are referring to.

Enlist contains 2-4D Choline. It's not the same as Amine or Ester. Better consult with a dealer or your state ag university first. Some chemicals can antagonize when mixed together. Then you will have a mix that will either damage your crop or one ingredient can make another ingredient inert or will turn into a mess in the tank that will plug nozzles.

It will kill the beans plus the enlist will not drift like 24d or diacambia. You will love the results you get using the enlist program. Might try to get your hands on liberty now. I had to pre pay my round up and liberty

I thought enlist one contained 24D, I am trying to get liberty herbicide but nearly impossible to find! My dealer is recommending using a pre plant herbicide, prowl , coming back later with one shot of enlist one herbicide combine with roundup.he said that should be weed free harvest. Thanks for reply!

The formulation of tge 24d is different in enlist. It's real confusing for sure. Tge round up will get your grasses and enlist will wipe out the broadleaf including mairstail.

Around here roundup will not touch marestail. You better use liberty or put down metribuzen If you have a problem with marestail. The metribuzen before emergence is best. Other wise a 24D roundup combination about a week ahead of planting.
