I got this Kubota L5030 a few years ago from a friend.
It gets used all the time around the place.
This week I have been rolling chunks of firewood blocks on the loader and bringing them to my splitter and just slide them onto the splitter table.
Sure saves this old wore out old back of mine.

Yeah Richard youre so right. Whether big or small a FEL. is a God send. Has a hundred uses. I have a 2012 Kubota too and knock on wood she has only cost me a battery and diesel fuel. Wingnut

My 2 loaders are the most used tractors on the place. This time of the year see firewood duty and snow removal. joe

Yes, a young friend of our son bought it from a fellow he knew that pulled irrigation trailers with it.
We have known this fellow for years and he even lived with us a while when our sons were still home.
Then his dad gave him his small Ford tractor when he retired and he sold the Kubota to me for what he had in it.

Attended an estate sale.......no one runs older Case equipment....?
This 830 CK 8 speed was like new. $900.00. drove it home.:) (Purchased Tractor 2014 ??)
Purchased a like new loader ( 2021) off a John Deere that had a piston punched out the side of the engine block.
$700.00 loader that had loaded <1000 round bales and was left on a fence line for 20 years.
Welding fabricating.....installed loader.

Why not turn that splitter over and hang it on the bottom of the bucket or make a quik connect for it to go right on the loader arms so it lifts the block then splits it right into the trailer /wagon or on the pile no lifting or rolling it. Don't even have to load the wagon just throw in stove to burn.

I sure don't mind throwing the wood in the trailer.
I am so happy not picking up pieces of wood to put on the splitter.
And I can't bend over with my bad back to use a vertical splitter.
Even sitting on a stool to use a vertical one kills my back.
This setup makes me happy.
If you look close, you can see the 3 jacks that raise the splitter up to a level so I do not have to bend over.

We stack it on a big pallet and move it with the forks. Sure saves a lot of work. Lifted our wood stove in the front door that way too.
