I had to do away with the differential,if I didnt the machine would stop moving when I pulled a steer clutch lever.. and I had to go to a chain drive to reverse the power flow,,also had to make the track stance wider so they would go out past the clutch pulley,,The PTO was a big challenge,,since i did away with the clutch drum housing when I deleted the rear power trol housing..

It was a big project...but a lot of fun..Gearing speed, and the combination of all the placements were a challenge...It took near 2 years to build.

Nice--Do you cut all of the shafts and gears yourself of outsource them? Looks real good...My Son bought a lathe a few years ago and I thought what he could do amazes me but what you do is unbelievable!!---Tee

We change the sprockets on my 500Case pulling tractor and this is the limit of my machining!

My Son machined the cast hub and heat shrunk the new sprockets to them--took a lot of weight off of everything too.

I out sourced some,, I have a lathe and a Bridgeport mill here..I repurposed most of the gears I used on the 4 wheel drive,, the large ones are actually the 1000 RPM gears out of a 4010,,I needed a 13 tooth small gear and it turned out that third gear in the 60 worked,, I bored the centers out and pressed in the hubs that I needed,,,,there is a lot of Hillbilly workmanship involved...I ordered the 2 bevel gears from Deere they are out of a brush hog gear box..made the shafts to make them work out..
