Minus 30F in Saranac Lake, NY this morning.

Its a balmy +15 here in nw Iowa this morn. Melbourne Fla where my sis lives is 62. Cant wait to knock on her door in a little over a month.
 
25 in southeastern VA, about 50 miles from the Va Beach, going up to 35-36 today with some sunshine. Might get down to 16 tomorrow morning.

OK, that does it... we are coming to visit you, Lois, and Ted cat.

Can bring our own pillows and camp cots BUT might eat a few oranges... See ya in a couple days... LOL!!
 
-18 here in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate NY this morning, 22 degrees at 2pm though.
 
I used to fish it when stationed at Bergstrom. I wade fished and caught perch. On one occasionI had my stringer tied to a belt loop. I was fishing and kept feeling a jerking at my side. I finally turned around to see a Cotton Mouth with a mouth full of the last perch oh the stringer, top of his mouth and eye balls up where I could look right at them, big sucker.... tugging at it and trying to get it back in the lilly pads from which it emerged. Was an unpleasant experience. Lots of Moccasins in that place.
 
Yeah, we had -17 about 20 miles northeast of Binghamton Saturday morning. Coldest in a few years for sure. Back in 1988, first year in the old farm house with no insulation upstairs, it hit -30 in December. Good thing we were much younger and more resilient back then!

-25, again!, a bit south of Black Lake NY. Guy at the auto parts store had -31 the other day, but he lives in a hole between two ridge lines.

I've seen an honest -50F when living in Long Lake NY, that's 50ish miles from Saranac Lake and quite a bit higher IIRC.
