Springtooth level bar?

What exactly is this? Seems to be a combination of a spring tooth and a leveling bar. Curious if anyone has run a piece like this. Seems like it would be a bear to pull!

Yes, it looks like a nice implement, but the pictures is so small I really can't see it. What is it with some pictures being so small recently, is it only ones from a phone? I don't think mine show up that small, but I don't use a phone to access YT.

Looks like a tiny scratcher to only be used where there is no residue or it would be a dump rake. Don't think it would go in the groung very far with that type of tooth. Looks like a summer fallow tool to me.

Dump Rake!--Noble called theirs a soil conditioner--about the same thing--had one years ago--good for piling tree roots

On Classic view they are small, if I switch to modern then usually I get a bigger picture but after seeing the pictire I c=go back to classic as it is so much easier to use. And I would not know how to use a phone to get on internet.

Folks are taking screen images of their phone and putting them here. The original photo is probably much bigger, but we are getting a screen snapshot, which is very small.

This is not a complaint against such pics, Im glad folks figure out any type of picture at all. :)

On my iPad I try to save the original pic to my pics (hold a finger on the pic and it will give a menu, save to photos) and then upload that saved photo to the message. This allows a bigger photo to appear.

Taking a screen shot saves the small format with all the extra white space, but at least it does get the photo through.

Again, none of this is a complaint in any way shape or form.

Somebody must have bought it, its not listed any more.

Id use it like a harrow or drag, kill off weed sprouts and level up the fine seedbed before planting. Fine tillage, shallow and fast.

Has too short a hitch, or it could be hooked behind a disk or field cultivator to make a one pass seedbed.

Easier to view/post photos is all about what one is accustomed to utilizing. I don't utilize my phone to access the internet only my computer. I dislike Classic view but when utilizing Classic & Modern uploading a photo is very similar. At least on Modern view one normally doesn't have to scroll back 3 or 4 pages to view a thread that was replied to yesterday.
Also if I make a mistake in my post & notice my mistake after hitting submit I can EDIT MY post on MODERN VIEW. Example of editing a mistake such as when you mistyped the word picture & c=go. In my old age I seem to make more typing/proofreading mistakes than when I was younger.

Here in Northeast Pennsylvania thes were called a Spring Tooth Harrow and were used a whole lot. Plowed with a mold board plow NS Harrowed with a spring tooth was mostly all that was used. They would go about 6 or so inches deep in good soil.

It might do a good job . The negatives are with the wheels so close if you have ground that is not dead flat it will be deep on oneside and out of the ground on the other, second it will plug terribly if you have much of anything for trash. Then it will become a tangled mess to unplug. Stay with a field cultivator and then if you want it smoother use a packer or one of the rolling harrow deals. I call them an egg beater since they turn fairly fast because of the diameter in-relation to tractor tires. The faster you pull them the better they work. stones will get between the bars if the right size and add a lot of weight when folding though. Usually will knock out easy with a bar.
